Version 0.2 (draft) · Effective September 13, 2026 · ScaleQor Inc.
We hold the minimum we need to run your account: who you are, what business you run, and what we found publicly about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use one customer's data to serve another. The business contact details we show you as leads are public listings, collected under the conditions Canadian law sets for them — and you can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or to delete it.
ScaleQor Inc. is accountable for the personal information under its control. Questions, access requests and complaints go to our Privacy Officer at privacy@scaleqor.com, who is responsible for our compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Your account. Your name, email address, and the password you set — stored only as a salted hash, so we cannot read it. We need these to create your account, sign you in, and contact you about the service.
Your business. The name, website, city, phone number and category you give us, plus what you tell us about who you sell to. We need these to build your profile and find relevant leads.
What we read publicly. When you onboard, we read your own website and public business listings to draft a profile. You review and confirm it claim by claim before it is treated as fact.
How you use the service. Which features you open and when, and the timing and status of page requests. We use this to find faults and to see which parts of the product earn their place. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Support conversations. Anything you send us in a feedback ticket, kept so we can answer it.
We do not collect payment card details. If and when we take payments they will be handled by a payment processor, and the card number will never reach our systems.
The businesses we suggest as leads or competitors come from published sources — Overture Maps, municipal business licence registers, and contact pages on companies' own websites. These are business contact details: a company name, a business address, a business phone number, a role mailbox such as info@ or sales@.
Two things we deliberately do not do:
If you are a business that appears in our data and you want to be removed, write to privacy@scaleqor.com and we will remove you.
We collect, use and disclose your personal information with your knowledge and consent. Creating an account and submitting your business details is that consent, for the purposes described here. Where we want to use your information for something not described here, we will ask first.
You can withdraw consent at any time by closing your account, subject to any legal or contractual obligations we still have. Parts of the service stop working without the information they depend on, and we will say plainly which parts.
Your data is held on servers in Canada. Some of the public source data we draw on is fetched from services hosted outside Canada, which means information can be subject to the laws of the country where it is processed. We will say so here if that changes materially.
Access to customer data is restricted to the people who need it to run the service. Data travels over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and each customer's profile data is isolated to their own account. Uploaded files are scanned before they are stored, and content we retrieve from the open web is kept inert so it cannot execute anywhere in the product.
No safeguard is perfect. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as PIPEDA requires.
You can see and edit your own account and business information in the product at any time. On written request to privacy@scaleqor.com we will tell you what personal information we hold about you, what it is used for, and who it has been disclosed to — normally within 30 days and at no cost. If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your confirmed profile with other customers.
We use service providers to run the product — hosting, email delivery, error reporting. They act on our instructions, see only what they need, and may not use it for their own purposes. We may disclose information where the law requires it, and will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Parts of your profile and your lead suggestions are produced by automated analysis, including language models run on our own hardware. Your business content is not sent to third-party model providers for training. These outputs are proposals: you confirm or reject them, and nothing is treated as fact until you do.
If you think we have handled your information badly, write to privacy@scaleqor.com. We will investigate and respond in writing. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
We will post any change here with a new version number and effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
